30-Day Digital Detox

What if you embraced August as the first month of the rest of your life?

Do you feel something is, even slightly, amiss in how you are using your phone and computer? It’s time to leverage the power of community to set things straight.

One of the most powerful techniques for resetting our relationship with digital technology is a 30-Day Digital Detox. The challenge has you abstain from non-essential digital tech for one month. During that time you invest heavily in things that really matter to you - friendships, family, community, exploration, learning, contemplation, service, education, professional development, meditation, sports, or hobbies. You choose. At the end of the thirty days you bring back only the technology that truly serves your goals and values, that actually nourishes you. It’s powerful, but not easy, which is why there’s a community and a whole slew of other resources to support you.

It’s one of those months that could change the course of your life, presenting the opportunity to rebuild your tech habits from the ground up. Importantly, it’s not one-size-fits-all. Everyone sets up their own lists of what they will abstain from and what they will pursue—but there will be a particular focus on meditation in this group.

What it Entails:

Live Kick Off (Tuesday, August 1st, 5:00-6:30 pm PT/8:00-9:30 pm ET)
We will review our intentions and motivations for the process, develop connections with others in the group, address any questions, and outline the structures that are in-place to support you during the month. This is highly recommended, but not mandatory for participating in the challenge.

Optional Live Support Groups (weekly)
These will be a time to reconnect with the community, share your experiences, get inspired, ask questions and forge on!

Optional Live Meditation Sessions (weekly)
Meditation is a powerful way to work with cravings and a beautiful tool to invest in. Join others to use the month to kick start or deepen your practice.

A Digital Forum for Building Community (throughout August)
The From Love Network will be made available for participants to connect with each other, and share tips, challenges, victories, and resources.

The Digital Detox will be Donation-Based.
