Join Dharma Friends, in partnership with Dharma Gates, as we host Dorje Lopön Charlotte Rotterderdam, one of the most senior teachers at Tara Mandala. In this auspicious gathering, Dorje Lopön Charlotte, Megan Mook, and Kevin Townely will discuss feminine wisdom (prajna) and the urgent need to balance male and female energies within ourselves and our world. Expect a thought provoking discussion on embodied feminine energy (dakinis), environmental and social responsibility, and the rise of female teachers across the world, followed by an exhilarating musical performance by Shonali Bowmik. This extraordinary evening will culminate in a profound meditation on the Dakini Mandala led by Dorje Lopön Charlotte.
This event will be Monday April 21st from 6:30pm - 8:30pm. In-person in New York City at Tibet House NYC or online via Zoom.
Dharma Friends is a monthly community gathering that weaves together meditation, Dharma, art, music, and embodiment practices. On Mondays once a month, we meet in-person | online at Tibet House NYC. And on the Mondays in-between our Tibet House gatherings, we gather online to meditate and further explore specific Dharma themes.
